How we work

We start by spending sufficient time with our clients to get a complete and thorough understanding of the open position – including specific duties, reporting lines (both formal and informal) and the personalities of co-workers. We'll also ask about corporate culture and ethos.

We then discuss the qualities, qualifications and experience you expect to see in the ideal candidate.

Only when we completely understand what the position entails and what you're looking for do we start our work. This falls into two distinct parts – search and selection.

Search

We use a sophisticated search engine to find suitable candidates on our database.

We also reach out to our extensive national (and international) network of contacts in search of potential candidates who are actively in the job market.

Finally, to ensure we get the maximum number of suitable candidates we usually advertise open positions.

Our ads are designed to get the best possible responses from qualified candidates.

Selection

We thoroughly screen all potential candidates and interview those who appear to match your parameters.

Our interviews are exhaustive and explore all aspects of candidates' motivation and past experience.

We submit for your consideration only those candidates who precisely match your requirements. Along with the CV, you will receive our comprehensive interview notes, which give an honest overview of each candidate's strengths and weaknesses.

For any candidate(s) in whom you're interested, we can, if requested, pursue references and arrange for professionally conducted psychometric / personality testing.

Our Fees:

We aim to charge competitive prices for our services.

Our fee is usually a percentage of the selected executive’s agreed annual salary, ignoring bonus and benefits unless they are particularly material. The percentage is dependent on the complexity of the assignment and the degree of our involvement.

Our fee becomes payable once an offer of employment has been made. Note that two thirds of the total fee is reimbursable pro-rata over a six-month period if the candidate leaves your employment during this time for any reason other that redundancy or reorganisation.

Any substantial out-of-pocket expenses [e.g., national print advertising] are re-charged when incurred.
All the above are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
